I’ve been watching Project Runway but I just haven’t written about it. I’ve been too busy talking to my TV, Tim Gunn (on TV), and the judges (on TV) to jot anything down. And by “jot” I mean “type”. And by “type” I mean “smashing some keys on my laptop”. So, let’s play catch-up!

So now, we’re at episode 11 and things get wacky. Maya Luz quits!

MAYA LUZ

Yep, that Maya. Apparently she felt like she’s still too young (21 years old, same age when Christian Siriano won the fourth season of Project Runway) and isn’t actually ready for this competition.

After Maya quits, Anthony is brought back. Then, he winds up actually winning the challenge. In the end…

JONATHAN PETERS

…Jonathan is kicked out.

episode 12

It’s the final 5 and the show usually finales with a final 3, so two designers should be kicked out this episode. Should be. Only one is:

ANTHONY WILLIAMS

For real this time. (I think?)

The last two on the stage were Mila and Jay. Only one of them will actually show at Bryant Park but all four of them (including Emilio and Seth Aaron) have to create their line.

Personally, I don’t love Emilio’s stuff (though I did like his dress in this last challenge). I think Jay has been lacking, which is surprising since he was in my top three from the beginning of the show (including Amy Sarabi and Maya Luz). At this point, I think Seth Aaron should win, but I can definitely see the judges choosing Emilio. He’s such a jerk to Tim Gunn though…ugh!
